Do you like giving money away?
Why pay more is the question I always find myself asking before I purchase anything. Especially if its going to be on a monthly basis or any type of annual contract. Auto insurance can be an arm & a leg if you just jump for the first policy that you come across. Smokey Robinson said in a old song "My momma told me you better shop around" that analogy goes for auto insurance also. So if you want to save money on insuring your vehicle, get your priority straight & compare rates before you purchase.

Auto Insurance facts
What is Auto Insurance
Vehicle insurance (also known as auto insurance, car insurance, or motor insurance) is insurance purchased for cars, trucks, and other vehicles. Its primary use is to provide protection against losses incurred as a result of traffic accidents and against liability that could be incurred in an accident.
There are two types of coverage that you could have.
Liability Coverage-This protects you or other insured persons for amounts that the law holds you responsible for if someone else is killed or injured or their property is damaged.
Minimum Coverage
Most people purchase liability insurance for their secondary vehicle, or just an older car that most policies dont cover.
Full Coverage- This type of coverage means that you are fully protected against any incident that may happen to you and your car because you have more than just the minimum auto insurance policy required by your state.
Standard Coverage
Full coverage is the typical choice of coverage among those who have a newer model vehicle, trying to register a vehicle, or just purchased a new vehicle (Before you pull of the Cars Salesman's lot they require that you have full coverage on the vehicle you purchase).

Deductibles and How They Affect You
Like other forms of auto insurance, comprehensive coverage auto insurance comes with a deductible. If your vehicle sustains damage that doesn't come from a car accident, and the damage will cost more than the deductible amount to repair, then your coverage kicks in. A lot of comprehensive coverage policies come with a deductible between $250 and $500—and generally speaking, the smaller your deductible, the more you'll pay in premiums. Before you decide on a deductible, keep in mind that if you ever need to make a claim, you will need at least that much cash on hand to get the process started. Get as high of a deductible as you can afford, and you will save money each month.
